Development update


Hi everyone, 

thanks for your support and your feedback.

We wanted to write a quick dev log to let you know that we are currently working on the next release with some changes, both big and small, regarding your feedback.

Here are some of the things you can expect to see in the next update:

  • Better movement (acceleration and deceleration).
  • Low jump / high jump (it was part of alpha 1.0 but it was removed due to a bug; but it's coming back bug-free).
  • Revamped climb and walljump mechanics. (no more climb button and and better walljumping overall)
  • New default keyboard controls (we will have customizable controls in the full version, but not for the moment. Meanwhile we want to get the defaults right).
  • New enemies (we are in fact getting rid of the current spiders).
  • A proper boss fight.
  • Stamina bar UI (for the climb!).


And here are some other things that probably are not gonna be in the next release but will be on the full game (just so you know!):

  • Map.
  • NPC's and dialogues.
  • Being able to interact with certain elements (mainly push or pull boxes, pull levers, that kind of stuff) and solve puzzles.
  • Quests.
  • More areas, more enemies, more boss fights, more environment mechanics (moving platforms, other dangers and stuff).
  • Two more abilities (we call them "supernova" and "fly", but don't trust the name too much, they are probable not what you imagine).
